Doctor heal thyself, please!

What is up with doctors lately?

When Anna Nicole Smith tragically died from complications associated with prescription medicine, everyone immediately speculated whether or not this was a suicide. Then when I read the list of medications she had been prescribed, I asked myself, “Who the hell was her doctor? Why would he prescribe such medications?’

Then I read that her two doctors had been arrested and charged for allegedly conspiring to fuel an addiction using prescription drugs. Anna Nicole Smith’s lawyer and companion, Howard K. Stern, also was arrested.

Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich were both charged with obtaining prescriptions for opioids by using “fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.” Prescriptions were also obtained by using a false name.

It was also noted that Anna Nicole Smith was prescribed methadone days prior to giving birth to Dannielynn. I recall seeing the actual footage of the refrigerator located in Anna Nicole Smith’s hotel room and thinking it looked like the locked narcotic cabinet the nurses guarded over in the hospital like wardens in a maximum security prison. This was supposed to be her mini bar refrigerator, and it had bottles of methadone and B12!

What kind of doctor prescribes methadone for a patient who is barely able to stand on her own and speak clearly? We all witnessed the downfall of Anna Nicole Smith. They had to know she wasn’t competent to self-administer those medications.

Then who can turn on the television without seeing that insane “Octo Mom”. You know her? She’s the self-obsessed, multi-gravid female who was artificially inseminated and birthed EIGHT children. What kind of a doctor cleared her for the procedure, knowing she had SIX children already, was unemployed and single?

Now don’t get your panties in a bunch. There are some single people out there that make great parents, better than some couples, but it’s the doctor here that needs the psychiatrist. In vitro fertilization cost mega bucks. Where did she get the money? Plus it’s just not safe to carry EIGHT fetuses at one time, not only for the mom but for the babies themselves.

Why would her doctor do this and more importantly, why hasn’t the doctor been charged with malpracticie. Please someone answer me?

Poor Hippocrates must be rolling in his tomb.

a terrible tale of the abuse of a woman at the hands of her LAWYER (assisted by doctors who agreed to false prescriptions).

Just more examples of the lack of personal responsibility and the “me first” attitude in our society.
